Professional Genealogist

Cemetery & Genealogy Photography Service

Serving:

West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, & Washington, DC

Professional genealogists and family historians know that cemetery and tombstone photographs add depth and interest to any family history project. A wealth of information may be gathered from headstone inscriptions and from cemetery data. They are often invaluable tools for genealogical research.

Do you live too far away to visit the cemetery or burial place of a loved one or ancestor? Do you need photographs of cemeteries and tombstones in order to add to your family history project? Perhaps you desire photographs of churches, homes, schools, businesses and other sites associated with your family history. My “Historical Photo Service” can help by providing beautiful digital and/or print photographs at very reasonable prices. Flowers and/or small memorial stones can also be placed for a nominal charge.

I am an experienced professional genealogist and photographer. I have authored several books on genealogy and have a background in history and archives administration. My research service is intended to serve family history researchers who are unable to travel to get those important photographs in person. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my photography services or professional genealogy research services.

INFORMATION NEEDED: For “Cemetery and Tombstone” photography you will need to provide the name & address or location of the cemetery, name & date of death of the deceased, & the location of the grave or graves. If you do not know the location of a grave and the cemetery is small, there is no charge to look for the tombstone. It is helpful if you are able to provide some direction as to location in the cemetery. If the person is buried in a large cemetery, the research fee of $20.00 per hour will apply.

For “Non-Cemetery” photography, please provide me with the building or site to be photographed, the location and number and types of photographs desired.

Please e-mail me with any questions that you may have. I look forward to helping you with your project.
